Human Trafficking Awareness Training for Hospitality Professionals
The New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association, in partnership with PACT, will host a virtual Human Trafficking Awareness training course designed specifically for restaurant and hospitality professionals.
As New Jersey prepares for major global events that will bring increased travel and tourism to our state, proactive training and awareness within the hospitality industry are critical to helping protect vulnerable individuals.
This training will provide an overview of human trafficking, including key indicators, common recruitment tactics, and vulnerabilities that traffickers exploit. Participants will also learn practical strategies for recognizing potential situations and responding safely and appropriately in a hospitality setting.
The interactive training session will include real-world scenarios, discussion, and guidance on trauma-informed responses and reporting protocols.
Participants will receive training materials and a certificate of completion.
Format: One session (60-90 minutes)
Audience: Restaurant and hospitality staff and leadership
