Urge the Senate to Replenish The RFF! (4/5/22)
This might be our LAST CHANCE to replenish the RFF! The House and possibly the Senate, are expected to vote on legislation to add $42 billion to the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF). While there is bipartisan support to replenish the RRF, there remains philosophic differences on whether to pay for the federal dollars with “new” federal spending, or to instead reallocate funds in existing COVID programs. This lack of agreement may mean that the votes fail due to lack of bipartisan support. This vote could not come at a more critical time for the 177,000 restaurants still awaiting a relief grant from the SBA.
and we owe it to those 177,000 operators to give it everything we’ve got!
